Considered to have one of the most agreeable climates in the world, San Ramon sits at an altitude of 1,057 m (3,468 ft) with warm temperatures ranging from 13 to 27 \u00b0C (55.4 to 80.6 \u00b0F).<\/p><p>Located on the very outskirts of the central valley and about 58 km (36 mi) from San Jose, San Ramon is self-sufficient even though many people commute to the San Jose area. The growing city still retains its charming \u201cpueblo\u201d vibe, with a diverse selection of inhabitants including working professionals, entrepreneurs, farmers, students, and retirees to mention a few.<\/p><p>Although the town itself has about 13,000 residents, the canton has a population of approximately 95,000.
